The 1sts beat the weather and the opposition to record a sound win at home to Netherfield. Batting first Netherfield raced to 58 in the tenth over before losing their first wicket and were 142 - 1 off 25 before a good fightback saw them bowled out for 248 with four wickets for Hindy and three for Liam Trevaskis. Penrith's target was reduced to 233 off 44 overs due to a rain interruption. The innings was anchored by Ryan Carruthers with 82 who had good support from Hindy (44) before Greg Hall saw them home in the 42nd over with a fine 53 not out to secure a six wicket win.
