Sowerby Cup Final

The Club hosted the Sowerby Cup Final in August when Wigton played Dalton.  In an excellent match on a very warm day, a sizeable crowd saw Wigton lift the cup.  Thanks to everyone who contributed to an excellent day.

The Dalton crowd who took up residence at lunchtime are still in place at tea enjoying the Penrith sunshine.

A busy place on a Sunday!

The cast of 'Last of the Summer Wine' are spotted on the West Terrace at Tynefield Park!

This lot decided that if they sat over there across the car park, they wouldn't have to pay the entrance fee!  And they could fire up their bar-b-q without upsetting too many people.

Winners

Both awarded OSCAs by the Cumbria Cricket Board for their work this year - and many before it!  Well done guys - above and beyond!
Mark Osborne

For services to Junior and Girls Cricket over a number of years.  A Penrith team in its entirety representing Cumbria in 2010 - Get On!

Lee Hutchinson

For efforts on NatWest CricketForce 2010 - the biggest building project since the Channel Tunnel (according to Hutch)!
