NatWest CricketForce
CricketForce this year will be on Saturday 9
April
CricketForce is an ECB initiative which Penrith Cricket Club takes part in
each spring as part of the essential ground and maintenance preparations for
the forthcoming season. It is the largest volunteers event in English
sport, and is sponsored by NatWest Bank.
We really need every player, parent, family member, friend and patron of our
club to commit in any way possible to help us on April the 9th this year as we
try to make CricketForce Penrith 2011 the best event in Cumbria.
Not only do we need volunteers to dig, paint, hammer, fix, weed, drill, build
and boil the kettle (!) but we also need sponsors to put their name to the day.
The acknowledgement that you are helping your club and the satisfaction of
helping the wider community are equally fulfilling and rewarding.
I have been coordinating this event for several years now, and CricketForce
Penrith 2010 project was by far the biggest success yet. Lets top that in 2011!
Your club needs you!
All of my details are below and I would be delighted to hear from you if you can
help in any small way.
Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you on the 9th of April, if not before!
